very good dentist yet helps them if you cancel your appointment very clean very good staff with very good social interaction and manners.
yet extreamly treated well at all visits.
each appointment is like my first.
staff Helpful considerate and manners used well.
No need to be rude to any staff as there social interaction skills are good.
so if you like being rude to people not the Dentist for you.
All my appointments i have been treated in the way i expect to be treated and rudeness well if your rude stay away lovely staff.

I have been attending prettygate dental practice for all of my 40+ years living in Colchester and this afternoon after my examination by the very nice dentist Dan, I preceded to go to reception desk to pay. I offered the receptionist the full payment in cash and it was then refused by the receptionist. This is no fault with the girls behind the desk but the company who now run the practice. In most cases cash is my preferred method of payment and to be victimised and forced to use card payment when I have the correct amount in this country's legal tender is totally unacceptable. I am a self employed person and my time and availability is very precious to me and my customer's who sometimes pay me in cash. I will return in the next week or so when I have time to pay the bill for the examination but the the regime who are now running the show realise that cash is acceptable in many forms of life in this country and it is legal tender.

The best dental surgery!
Have been coming to this dental surgery for a few years now and can't praise it enough . The Dental surgeons , nurses and receptionists are all fantastic . It's easy to make an appointment and everyone including the receptionists go above and beyond to accommodate for both my parents who have advanced dementia. This can sometimes be challenging but they always show them so much kindness , patience and understanding it really takes the stress out of visits . They have good disabled access and so long as you let them know in advance they can see you in one of the surgery rooms downstairs. Just allow extra time for parking as the outside parking is a bit limited but you can park behind the charity shop and library opposite as there is a car park. Highly recommend this practice it's definitely the best one we have had.

I had my first appointment this morning after 5+ years of dental fear, i was seen by dr daniel Chia and his assistant. They are AMAZING! So calming and professional, really eased my nerves and was very accommodating to a smaller X-ray needed. I have never met such a lovely pair within dentistry! 5* all the way!!! UPDATE* I have had my 3 fillings done and i am over the moon!!! such a calming experience by dr chia and did not feel a thing! 5* all the way!

I had my fillings done recently and had such a great experience. Mem and Megan were incredibly friendly and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. They explained everything clearly and really helped put me at ease. I couldn’t have asked for better care — highly recommend!

The hygienist Kristy is very friendly and full of advice in relation to my lifestyle. Never once did she make me uncomfortable about not doing the right thing! She was thorough and efficient cleaning my teeth.
I highly recommend her.
