Important NHS Treatment Info
You only pay the highest band fee per course of treatment.
(e.g. If you need both a filling and a crown, you’ll only pay Band 3)
Free NHS treatment is available for:
- Children under 18 (or under 19 in full-time education)
- Pregnant people or new parents (within 12 months of birth)
- Those receiving qualifying benefits
- White fillings are only available on the NHS if clinically required
- Wisdom tooth removal is covered when necessary — often requires referral.
- Crown or bridge options may be metal-based under the NHS; speak to your dentist about private alternatives.
Further treatment within 2 months may be covered under your existing band charge, if it's part of the same course of care. Visit the NHS website to find out more about banded treatments.
